Awards and Scholarships

The Wyoming SNA values the opportunity to honor its members who have gone "above and beyond" in different aspects of their positions.

Members are encouraged to nominate other members to receive the awards summarized below.  Awards are presented at the Annual Conference each year.

SNF Scholarships for SNA Members:

Scholarships and grants are available through the School Nutrition Foundation, the philanthropic sister organization of SNA, for active SNA members to:

• Achieve your educational dreams
• Attend national SNA conferences
• Upgrade school kitchen equipment

SNA Awards Program:

Through the SNA Awards Program, SNA celebrates and recognizes every-day heroes: school nutrition professionals who work every day to ensure well-nourished students across the country are prepared for success!  The SNA Awards Program has been revamped and now features easy-to-understand names, new prizes, streamlined rules, and for the first time ever, you can now nominate a deserving colleague online. Awards include:

• Employee of the Year
• Director of the Year
• New Director of the Year

Nominations are due online or to the State President by May 18, 2018.
