The School Nutrition Association of Wyoming (SNAWY)
WagonSNAWY is the Wyoming state affiliate of the
School Nutrition Association. SNAWY is made up of over 275 school nutrition professionals who work throughout the state of Wyoming. SNAWY's members come all segments of school foodservice, including foodservice directors, managers, and employees. In addition, SNAWY has industry partners who serve as a valued resource to its members.
Members of SNAWY are divided into regions based on geography and have the opportunity to join chapters at a local level. SNAWY offers a variety of education and training opportunities to members and non-members throughout the state of Wyoming and support and encourages chapter and regional involvement. SNAWY works closely with the Wyoming Department of Education in implementing school nutrition policies at districts throughout the state.
SNAWY Association Services holds the permanent address of the association and handles the business affairs (event registration, member questions, SNAWY publication) of the association.
The leadership of SNAWY works very hard to support its members by providing effective and useful learning and networking opportunities to continually improve the field of school foodservice in Wyoming. The SNAWY Executive Board is made up of the following elected positions:
